and I've come a long way.

I look back at my first photos from when I got my SLR 2 months ago, compared to the ones now and I can already tell quite a difference.  A difference in composing the picture, focusing, what settings I used in each situation, and just overall having a better eye.  I also get more keepers out of the ones I take, as well.

Not only that, but I've had several people approach me and want to schedule with me photo sessions, whether it be a dj gig for promo or portraits.  Also did a photo shoot of a guy's gym for his website.  A promoter wanted to use one of my great crowd shots for his upcoming promotion of a huge event going on at the end of this month.  Now I'm being hired to shoot a monthly club event.  Things are looking up!  I may have something afterall.

No negatives really other than it will take me forever to pay off my camera and equipment.  I've only had one problem with having my camera in a public place.  Doorman to a club gave me hell for a press pass, but let me in anyway.  Then I was approached by bouncers throughout the night  asking for a press pass.  Then approached by the club manager wanting me to sign a photo release, a page that was all legal and filled the whole letter size page.  It was ridiculous.  But other than that - I'm lovin' it!  I even started my 52 week project!
